Québec’s flagship telecom provider hooks up its first customer in Val-d’Or
Montréal, August 4 2020 – Almost a year to the day after announcing plans to serve Abitibi, Videotron is pleased to announce the official launch of its services in the region. As of today, the vast majority of residents of Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d’Or, Amos and environs, Malartic, Rivière-Héva and Preissac can enjoy leading-edge telecommunications services and the best customer experience in Québec.

First installation in Val-D’Or
Videotron technicians have carried out their first television and Internet installation in the region. Yvan Brunet became the first Abitibi customer to experience the new technology. Quebec’s telecommunications leader welcomes Mr. Brunet to the family!
