Montréal, October 5, 2004 – Online video game buffs who subscribe to Vidéotron's High-Speed Internet service can now rent their favourite games, including new releases, on the Zictor.com site. The games-on-demand service has been available since September 29, 2004.

Zictor.com is powered by Vidéotron's reliable, high-performance Internet platform, which supports fast and secure downloads of large files.

The new online PC video game rental service, operated by Divertissements Zictor Inc., has a catalogue of over 200 titles from publishers such as Ubisoft, Atari, Activitivision, Eidos, Take-Two and Strategy First. The site is hosted by Vidéotron.

“The soaring popularity of online video games is attracting more customers to our High- Speed Internet and Extreme High-Speed Internet services,” said Stéphane Gendron, Senior Director, Marketing, Internet Products. “By hosting Zictor.com's servers on Vidéotron's system, we are providing our subscribers with the exciting video game experience they expect.”
