Vidéotron will broadcast Super-Skills Competition and all-star game in High Definition television

Montréal, February 5, 2004 - Vidéotron will carry the CBC/HD broadcasts of the NHL All- Star Super-Skills Competition at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, and of the NHL All- Star Game at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, on channel 606 in High Definition Television (HDTV).

Vidéotron is able to bring its subscribers the sport events in HDTV because of its unique hybrid fibre-optic/coaxial cable two-way broadband network and its HD illico digital platform.

Access
To access the HDTV feed of the broadcasts, Vidéotron subscribers need an HDTV television set and an HDTV illico set-top box.

Vidéotron subscribers in the greater Montréal area will be able to tune in the HDTV broadcast of the Super-Skills Competition and the All-Star Game on channel 606 of Vidéotron's digital cable service.
