Videotron responds to Internet users' needs and increases download limits on its Ultimate Speed Internet 30 and Ultimate Speed Internet 50 services

Montréal, February 26, 2010 – As of March 1, 2010, Videotron customers who subscribe to the Ultimate Speed Internet 30TM and Ultimate Speed Internet 50TM services will enjoy higher download limits as Videotron raises the maximum from 70 gb to 100 gb for Ultimate Speed Internet 30 and from 100 gb to 125 gb for Ultimate Speed Internet 50. Videotron is also upping the speed of its Basic Internet service from 600 kbps to 1 mbps. The changes respond to the needs of Internet users, who are asking for greater capacity and faster speeds. At the same time, to streamline its Internet service offerings, Videotron is phasing out the Extreme High Speed service and eliminating the Extreme Plus High Speed service.

Starting March 1, Basic Internet subscribers will get 1 mbps service and a 2 gb combined file transfer limit (uploads/downloads) for the same low price of $27.95 per month. The monthly rates for Ultimate Speed Internet 30 and 50 will be $65.95 and $81.95 respectively.
