February 8, 2012 - Press Release

Montréal, February 8, 2012 – In view of its laser focus on delivering the best possible customer experience, Videotron is proud that the trade magazine Advertising Age* has recognized the Company's marketing communications, which showcase customer service, as among the best in the world.  Videotron's excellent customer service, inventive commercials and new high-tech flagship store all embody the “infinite power” concept and support the Company's unrivalled customer satisfaction levels, attracting the attention of Advertising Age.

“We have been working unstintingly for years to build a special relationship with Quebecers and to set ourselves apart from the competition by offering products and customer service that exceed customers' expectations,” said Manon Brouillette, President, Consumer Services. “We are flattered to receive this recognition and to see that our marketing is spreading the word about our high-calibre offerings far and wide.”

Videotron, Québec's most respected telecommunications provider** for the past six years running,  has been working with the Montréal-based agency Sid Lee to develop its customer-driven vision. Advertising Age pointed to Videotron's ability to reinvent itself, noting the opening of its flagship store in Montréal in November 2010. The store is equipped with interactive booths and features a staircase lit by more than 150 high-definition LED screens, making it a truly dazzling destination for customers.

Advertising Age also noted the resounding success of the advertising campaign in which comics Sugar Sammy and André-Philippe Gagnon put Videotron customer service to the test during the moving season rush. The commercials used humour to demonstrate Videotron's efficient customer service and differentiate it from the competition.
