Gatineau, April 26, 2012 – Videotron opened its new Customer Contact Centre in Gatineau today. The new premises have twice the floor space and can accommodate 106 new employees. Manon Brouillette, President, Consumer Market, of Videotron, and members of the Gatineau business community were in attendance. Videotron took the opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to delivering the best possible customer service.
Videotron's mission is to make the customer's life easier and that is why we are so focused on maintaining an outstanding customer service department staffed by employees who care, said Manon Brouillette. We are also very proud to be contributing to local economic development and to be working hand-in-hand with Outaouais-region merchants and residents.
Since 2010, Videotron has invested more than $5.4 million in its Gatineau Customer Contact Centre and created more than 220 jobs. Five groups of new employees totalling about 40 people will take the specialized training in the near future.
