Montréal, September 24, 2013 – Videotron continues differentiating its unique multiplatform experience with the announcement that Super Channel will soon be added to the illico TV channel line-up. A wide selection of content will also be offered on illico.tv, illico.tv for tablets (Android and iPad) and illico mobile. Super Channel carries popular programming including hit movies, top TV series and exclusive Showtime boxing events. Videotron customers will be transported into an exciting new world of entertainment, whenever and wherever they want.
Super Channel serves up compelling series such as the Emmy and Golden Globe winning Homeland, Sons of Anarchy, Justified and the Starz original series Da Vinci's Demons and The White Queen on 8 channels (of which 4 are in HD, as is Super Channel on Demand). Sports fans will be happy to know that Super Channel also has an exclusive deal with Showtime Sports for the live broadcast of Showtime Championship Boxing and ShoBox: The New Generation events, which are shown uncut and commercial-free.
Customers in the greater Montréal area and Gatineau, will be able to sample Super Channel in HD from September 25 to October 9.
Super Channel will be available for $15 on illico TV channels 205, 206, 207 and 208 in standard format, channels 805, 806, 807 and 808 in HD, and channel 900 for on-demand content.
