Videotron boosts file transfer limit on Basic Internet service to 3 Gb

Montréal, March 31, 2010 – Keeping pace with changing customer needs, Videotron is increasing the file transfer limit on its Basic Internet service from 2 Gb to 3 Gb as of April 1. The announcement follows on the heels of the increase in the speed of the service from 600 kbps to 1 mbps at the beginning of March. The speed and file transfer increases are designed to match customers' greater Internet use and new usage habits.

Basic Internet is changing in response to the new realities.”

The improved Basic Internet service will be offered at the same price of $27.95 per month.
