Montréal, February 1, 2011 Videotron is adding two channels to its Digital TV line-up, Cinépop HD and Cosmopolitan TV. Subscribers to Videotron's Digital TV service will now have access to more than 390 channels, including 57 HD channels, 30 of them in French, the largest selection of French-language HD channels in Québec.

Since January 28, Cinépop HD has been bringing film enthusiasts the best movies and the biggest stars of every era, in dazzling high definition. Cinépop HD carries memorable films such as Platoon, Quatre mariages et un enterrement (Four Weddings and a Funeral), Il était une fois dans l'Ouest (Once Upon a Time in the West), Victimes du Vietnam (Casualties of War), Raging Bull and Adaptation. Cinépop HD is available on channel 705 at no additional charge to subscribers to Videotron's HD service who have the standard version of the channel in their package. For clients who wish to add Cinépop to their services, the channel is available per unit or as part of the Custom, Franco and Mega packages.

Cosmopolitan TV, available as of today, covers men, sex and contemporary trends for the modern woman. It's brash, sassy and irreverent. Cosmopolitan TV carries hit television series including Sex and the City and Lipstick Jungle, Hollywood blockbusters, gripping reality TV shows and the original series Oh So Cosmo. Cosmopolitan TV is available in standard format on channel 87 on illico Digital TV. Videotron is offering a free preview until May 1, after which Cosmopolitan TV will be available as part of the Custom and Mega packages, or per unit.
