Vidéotron adds two new high-definition channels

Montréal, October 12, 2004 – Vidéotron has announced that it is adding two more highdefinition services to its channel line-up in Montréal, Hull, Chicoutimi and Rivière-du- Loup as of today. The two new channels, TSN HD and Discovery HD, will be available free of charge until January 6, 2005 to illico subscribers with a high-definition digital settop box and a high-definition television set.

Vidéotron's line-up in the Montréal area and Hull already includes 11 channels that carry all or some high-definition programming: ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, Citytv, Rogers SportsNet, CTV, The Movie Network (one channel out of five), FOX and Viewer's Choice (two channels).

The latest channel additions, combined with flexible illico digital packages, demonstrate Vidéotron's continued leadership in home entertainment.
