Montréal, January 23, 2012 - In response to customer demand, Videotron is expanding its high definition (HD) channel line-up as of today with the introduction of the French-language channel RDS INFO and the popular English-language channels Bravo!, Discovery Channel and SPACE. Videotron is offering customers a free preview of the new HD channels until February 29, 2012.
The four new channels are a major addition to Videotron's HD offerings. RDS INFO, formerly RIS, will give sports fans a non-stop fill of sports news in HD (available at channel 699 on the dial). The Canadian entertainment channel Bravo! (669), which carries high-quality drama and popular television series, will offer a whole new HD experience. Inspiring, adrenaline-packed and entertaining, Discovery Channel's (664) programming reveals the world in all it's wonder, diversity and amazement. And genre fans will see SPACE (670) like they've never seen it before.
Subscribers to Videotron's HD service will get a free preview of the new HD channels until February 29, after which they will be available as part of the Custom, Anglo, Telemax, Telemax+ and Mega packages, or à la carte. For more information, visit videotron.com
