Just a few weeks ago, Videotron officially announced its service launch in Abitibi. Residents have given us a warm welcome and interest is keen.
Given the high demand, we brought on additional resources to respond to customers more quickly. However, Cablevision, the Bell property which owns the network in Val-d'Or and Rouyn-Noranda, decided not to increase its resources to facilitate the migration. As a result, there have been installation delays and Abitibi residents will need to be patient.
