Montréal, August 2, 2011 – At 9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 6, Indigo presents UFC 133, headlined by the mixed martial arts fight between Rashad Evans (20-1-1) and his sworn enemy Tito Ortiz (17-8-1), both of the U.S. After battling to a draw in 2007, the two men will trade punches again at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The fight will be broadcast live on Indigo.
Fans can expect a dramatic encounter between Tito The Huntington Beach Bad Boy Ortiz, stepping in for Phil Davis, who was forced to withdraw because of a knee injury, and former world light heavyweight champion Rashad Suga Evans, re-entering the ring after a 14 month absence.
UFC 133 will also feature the middleweight semi-final between Vitor Belfort (19-9-0) of Brazil and Yoshihiro Akiyama (13-3-0) of Japan. The two fighters, aged 34 and 35 respectively, promise to put on a gripping show.
In the welterweight category, Dennis Hallman (65-13-2) of the U.S. will face Australia's Brian Ebersole (47-14-1). The main card also includes Jorge Riviera (18-8-0) versus Constantinos Phillippou (7-2-0), both of the U.S., and Canada's Rory Macdonald (11-1-0) versus Mike Pyle (21-7-1) of the U.S. On the preliminary card, Matt Hamill (11-3-0) of the U.S. battles Alexander Gustafsson (11-1-0) from Sweden.
