Montréal, November 26, 2013 – In the wake of the devastating typhoon that hit the Philippines on November 8, 2013, Videotron announces that it is offering its residential telephone customers free long distance calls to the Philippines. As a gesture of support for Québec residents who have been affected by this natural disaster, Videotron customers will not have to pay for long-distance calls placed to the Philippines from November 8 through December 8. The charges will be credited on the invoices issued after December 8.

Videotron is trying to make a difference for customers who have friends and relatives in the Philippines. Approximately 13 million people were affected by Hayan, one of the most powerful typhoons in recorded history.
