Montréal, February 13, 2004 – Subscribers to Vidéotron's high-speed and Extreme high-speed Internet services will enjoy free exclusive access to offstage webcam feeds from the Star Académie program on the www.staracademie.ca site. The first show of Star Académie 2004 airs on the TVA network at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2004.

After the immense popularity of webcam feeds from the 2003 edition of Star Académie, Vidéotron is taking Internet users behind the scenes again this year, training 30 cameras on the contestants so subscribers can follow the doings of the 14 candidates live on the Internet from the moment they move into the Académie de Ste-Adèle.
Starting February 15, after the first Star Académie Sunday evening variety show of the 2004 season, Vidéotron subscribers will be able to watch this year's crop of candidates settling into the big house in the Laurentians and share the contestants' emotions as they take their first steps in show biz. The Sunday evening debriefing sessions were very popular last year and promise to be a favourite with Vidéotron customers again this year.

Subscribers to Vidéotron's illico digital television service will have free exclusive access to repeats of the Star Académie Sunday evening variety shows starting the following Tuesday. The full selection of this season's variety shows will be available exclusively on illico on demand until the grand finale in the spring.
The Video on Demand service can be accessed from all illico set-top boxes now on the market.
Subscribers who order a Star Académie 2004 variety show can watch it as many times as they like.
Viewers can pause, rewind, fast forward, stop and resume play later, as with a VCR.
Subscribers can order by pressing the yellow button (A) or switching to channel 900 and following the on-screen instructions.
