Starting today : Videotron lowers international roaming rates for its customers

February 19, 2014 - Press Release

Montréal, February 20, 2014 – In keeping with its commitment to giving its customers more, Québec telecommunications leader Videotron announces that it is cutting its rates for data roaming in the U.S., Europe and Caribbean and introducing a new unlimited texting option for customers roaming in the U.S. The new pricing applies to both residential and business customers.

No worries when you travel
Videotron's new unlimited texting add-on for consumers and business people travelling in the U.S. is priced at only $10 per month. Customers will also be pleased to learn that data roaming charges in the U.S. have been harmonized with the Canadian rate and reduced from $0.40/MB to only $0.15/MB. Videotron customers will pay only for the data they actually use when they are away from home.

Roaming rates for Europe and the Caribbean are also coming down as of today. European data roaming is being reduced from $1/MB to $0.60/MB. Caribbean rates are being slashed by 50% to $1/MB for data and $0.60/min for calls.
