Montréal, April 14, 2009 – Videotron is introducing a new corporate identity to accompany the creation of its new Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) network. The new brand image will reflect the far-reaching convergence strategy supported by the AWS network, which will make it possible to offer current and future customers an unprecedented technological and entertainment experience.
With the addition of mobile telecommunications services to Videotron's product line-up, the Company needed flexible branding. The new cubic logo and the revamped infinite power signature illustrate the possibilities and the control Videotron places in the hands of customers in the form of a customized consumer experience, said Claude Foisy, Vice President, Brand and Content.
The first television commercial was broadcast yesterday evening. Several print advertisements and commercials will appear over the coming days.
