NBA TV Canada on three platforms for the first time

Montréal, October 15, 2010 — Videotron is pleased to announce that it will be the first service provider in Canada to carry NBA TV Canada on three screens. The specialty channel is available on Videotron's TV, Web and mobile services.

NBA TV Canada will launch on October 15 with coverage of NBA preseason games. In addition to carrying a of hundred NBA games, the channel will broadcast Euroleague and NBA D-League games, as well as other basketball-related programming. Basketball fans in Quebec will have a channel dedicated to their sport at last.

Videotron Digital TV customers will be able to access NBA TV Canada in standard format on channel 86 and in HD on channel 686. A free preview will be offered for the next three months on illico TV, illico web and illico mobile. Subsequently, NBA TV Canada will be available as part of the Mega, Custom and Sports packages.
