On multiple screens: Videotron captures Wild TV for hunting and fishing buffs

Montréal, August 2, 2011 — Tomorrow, in an eagerly awaited addition to its channel line-up, Videotron begins carrying Wild TV, the channel for hunters and fishers. Videotron customers will get a 3-month free preview of the Canadian specialty channel, which features unique programming for people who love the great outdoors.

Wild TV carries documentaries and other programming about the wildlife and natural bounty of Canada and the entire world. Nature-lovers will be able to enjoy programming centred on hunting as well as a good number of fishing programs. Wild TV will be available on channel 56.

From the warm ocean currents that wash the Mexican coast to the arid tundra of Canada's Far North, Wild TV's hosts eagerly share their adventures and their knowledge with the camera, taking viewers on an exciting and educational journey of discovery.

Wild TV will be available on illico TV, illico on demand (channel 900), illico web and illico mobile. Hunting season is open on illico!
