Montréal, December 18, 2014 – He's back! On December 19, Indigo brings you the return of the superb boxer Adonis Stevenson, live from the Colisée Pepsi in Québec City. The show starts at 7 p.m. in French and 9 p.m. in English. See the battle between Stevenson, the reigning WBC world light heavyweight champion, and Russia's Dmitry Sukhotsky, the seventh-ranked challenger to Stevenson's crown, from the best seat in the house.
The fight will be the fourth title defence for Québec's Adonis Superman Stevenson (24-1-0). In 2013, he was named Fighter of the Year by The Ring magazine and ESPN, and was picked as the author of the Knockout of the Year. Stevenson is the heavy favourite in the December 19 bout.
Dmitry The Hunter Sukhotsky is little-known in North America but is undefeated since his victory by unanimous decision over Cornelius White in July 2012, which earned him the vacant IBF title. He holds an impressive record of 2 defeats and 22 victories, including 16 KO's. Which of these two dangerous sluggers will walk away with the coveted WBC light heavyweight belt?
The undercard features eight fights, including a NABA / NABO title bout between Arthur Beterbiev (6-0, 6 K.-O.), a Montrealer of Russian origin, and Jeff Page Jr. (15-0, 10 K.-O.) of the U.S., as well as the eagerly awaited grudge match between Jo-Jo Dan (33-2, 18 K.-O.) and Québec's Kevin Bizier (22-1, 15 K.-O.).
The Stevenson-Sukhotsky fight will be available for $54.99 in standard definition and $59.99 in HD.
