Montréal, April 14, 2010 – Indigo will broadcast Lucian Bute's eagerly anticipated return to the ring live from Montréal on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 9 p.m. The Romanian native will defend his IBF world championship against Edison Miranda of Colombia. Bute (25 0 0, 20 KO) will be trying to hold on to his Super Middleweight belt for the fifth time, while Pantera Miranda (33 4 0, 29 KO) will attempt to snatch the world championship by handing Bute his first defeat.
Indigo's fight card will open with a bout between Renan St Juste of Québec (20 1 1, 13 KO) and Dionisio Miranda of Colombia (20 5 2, 18 KO), who will face off for the WBC Continental of Americas and NABA Middleweight titles. Then, immediately after the Bute-Miranda fight, Indigo will transport boxing fans to Atlantic City for a feature presentation of the fight between Kelly Pavlik of the U.S. (36 1 0, 32 KO), the reigning WBO and WBC Middleweight champion, and quick-footed Sergio Martinez of Argentina (44 2 2, 24 KO).
