High-speed provider Videotron revs up for 2010 Canadian Grand Prix

Montréal, June 2, 2010 – Videotron announces that it is sponsoring the 2010 Canadian Grand Prix, which will be held at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on June 11, 12 and 13, 2010. Videotron also approved an agreement associating it with NAPA Auto Parts 200 Presented by Dodge, a NASCAR Nationwide race to be run on the same track on August 28 and 29, 2010. The breathtaking speeds on the track promise to match those Videotron deliver on the Internet, creating two weekends of full throttle excitement for car racing fans.

Videotron will be front-row centre celebrating the return of Formula 1 racing to the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve at Parc Jean-Drapeau. “Videotron is very proud to be associated with these two major sports events, the Canadian Grand Prix and the NAPA Auto Parts 200, part of the NASCAR Nationwide series,” said Robert Dépatie, President and CEO of Videotron. “The link-up between high-speed champion Videotron and the only Formula 1 World Championship race in North America is a match that was meant to be.”
