On October 17, 2020, Videotron was a partner in Connecting the Dots, an event organized by the CNIB Foundation. The CNIB is dedicated to promoting accessibility for Canadians who are blind or partially sighted.
This year’s event was held online. Visitors could tour virtual booths, such as the Zone Techno Helix, which presented recent technological breakthroughs and applications adapted for people with vision loss to facilitate their daily activities. It was natural for our new flagship product Helix to be the presenter of the technology zone, as Helix boasts a series of features designed to meet the accessibility needs of people who are blind or partially sighted, such as voice control.
Throughout the day, visitors to the Videotron room could attend talks on the latest innovations that are changing the lives of people with visual limitations.
At the Videotron booth, staff were on hand to answer visitors’ questions and advise them about our products and options.
Videotron is happy to promote products that are accessible to all and to help end the isolation of the community by participating in major events of this kind.
