The fun of gaming and the Videotron technologies at the ARCADIA Festival

Montréal, October 23, 2007 — Videotron is proud to be the official presenter of the 3rd edition of the ARCADIA Festival, Canada's first video gaming festival, to be held at the Uniprix Stadium on November 9, 10 and 11, 2007. Since its inception, the ARCADIA Festival has been recognized as one of Canada's premier gaming events, drawing hi-tech buffs of all ages from the four corners of the gaming universe to Montréal.

"The ARCADIA Festival is a fun way for visitors to experience the Infinite Power of Cable for themselves. Videotron is pleased to be part of this celebration of the fusion of games and technology."

Videotron will therefore be present and at the heart of the ARCADIA festivities as it will become the power engine behind the ARCADIA Space Shuttle.

Another special attraction will take place at the Videotron booth where will be the Guitar Hero Scene. Visitors will be invited to perform some Air Guitar in front of a camera, to appear on the Videotron website at videotron.com, just as if they where a real rock star performing in front of a live audience!

Also at the Videotron booth, visitors will be able to feel all the advantages of Internet High Speed as more than 30 monitors will be displaying games in collaboration with Microplay, a SuperClub Videotron trademark. And of course, wireless phones will be a big part of this three-day celebration as visitors will have the opportunity to try out the phones and a bundle of new games and even compete amongst themselves on site in some wireless battles!
