Montréal, May 30, 2021 – Videotron Ltd.’s unionized employees in the Montréal area (members of SEVL local 2815) have voted 88% in favour of the agreement in principle to renew their collective agreement.
The collective agreement expired in December 2018, Videotron is pleased that conciliation has enabled the parties to find common ground and arrive at a win-win solution.
“Two long years of bargaining have produced an agreement that will let us continue doing what we do best: delivering a unique customer experience and developing innovative solutions,” said Pierre Karl Péladeau, President and CEO of Quebecor. “Our employees are the mainstay of the company and I’m very happy that we can look to the future together.”
The 7-year agreement will be officially signed within the coming weeks.
