A Canadian first on illico TV

Montréal, March 1, 2005 – Vidéotron is introducing a new Spanish-language package called HISPANO made up of five new international Spanish services, Canal SUR, Cinelatino, Eurochannel, Grandes Documentales and Utilisima, plus the Telelatino (TLN) channel, which is already popular with Italian- and Spanish-speaking Canadians. The all-Spanish package will bring viewers a variety of popular programs from Spain and Latin America representative of the breadth and range of international Spanish-language television. HISPANO will be available on illico Digital TV in Montréal, Gatineau, Rockland and Sorel.

Channel descriptions and positions
• Canal SUR - channel 260
An all-news channel carrying 20 newscasts per day plus live current events programs from 12 Latin American countries, highlighting the social, political and cultural diversity of the Hispanic world.

• Cinelatino - channel 261
Cinelatino offers movie buffs a vast selection of excellent feature films by the best Spanish and Latin American directors, commercial-free.

• Eurochannel - channel 262
Eurochannel features high-rated television programs and films from across Europe, as well as its own magazine-style programs. All programs are broadcast in the original language, with Spanish subtitles.

• Grandes Documentales - channel 263
Fascinating documentaries about history, nature, science, technology, art in all its forms, celebrities and travel.

• Utilisima - channel 264
Programs focused on the concerns and interests of Spanish-speaking women. Lifestyles, fashions, cooking, decorating, health and beauty make up the channel's daily fare.

• Telelatino - channel 250
The Hispano package also includes the popular Italian channel Telelatino, which Vidéotron has been carrying for years.

HISPANO channels unscrambled in March
To give all subscribers to illico Digital TV, and particularly members of ethnic communities, an opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of the Hispanic cultures of Europe and Latin America, Vidéotron will unscramble the channels throughout the month of March 2005.

Introductory offer: $5 off per month
New subscribers to Hispano will get a $5 discount off the regular price for the first year. From March 1, 2005 through February 28, 2006, the package will cost $9.99 instead of $14.99 per month.
