71st Golden Globe Awards : Latest award-winning movies and TV shows come to Videotron customers' screens

Montréal, January 15, 2014 – Following the 71st edition of the prestigious Golden Globe Awards, illico is bringing all the magic of cinema back to Québec living rooms. Videotron customers will be able to watch again many of the movies and TV shows honoured by Hollywood on Sunday, including the excellent series Breaking Bad, which picked up the Golden Globe for best drama series, and the critically acclaimed comedy series Girls.

Québec entertainment leader Videotron had its finger on the pulse of the industry and had already served up the cream of this year's crop of American films and TV shows on illico TV (channel 900), on the Web (illico.tv), on iPad and Android tablets (illico.tv app), on illico mobile and on a number of specialty channels prior to the Golden Globes. To offer consumers the best possible entertainment experience, Videotron is planning to broadcast many of the award-winning movies in the coming weeks, including Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine, the thriller Gravity, and the latest film from Québec director Jean-Marc Vallée, Dallas Buyers Club, starring Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto, which is also in the running for the Oscars.
