Montréal, October 12, 2017 – Videotron was a stand-out on the Ipsos-Infopresse index when the results were announced at the Grand Prix Marketing awards ceremony last night. Videotron, Québec's most awarded telecommunications provider, was nominated in four out of five categories and was the winner in two, forward-thinking and engagement.
When Ipsos released its ranking of the 100 most influential Québec, Canadian and international brands in Québec in the spring, Videotron was the top Québec telecom. Last night, Ipsos published the results of the second part of its study, in which the public's responses were broken down by the five performance pillars measured in the survey – engagement, trust, presence, forward-thinking and social responsibility – and the winners in category were announced.
This distinction shows that Videotron is an engaging, forward-looking brand that is ahead of the curve and more in sync than ever with its customers and their expectations, two critical factors in the digital age, commented Julie Brault, Vice President, Branding & Ominchannel Digital Strategy. Over the years, we have been able to set ourselves apart thanks to our best ambassadors, our employees. They are the ones who are building the Videotron brand and delivering the best customer experience day after day. We owe this honour to them.
The Ipsos brand influence index is an international benchmark that measures 826 brands in 16 countries. In Québec, Ipsos has worked with Infopresse for the past three years to conduct the survey.
