Videotron Ltd. Announces Closing of C$300 Million Senior Notes Offering

Montréal, July 5, 2011 - Videotron Ltd. today announced the closing of its offering and sale of C$300 million aggregate principal amount of 6⅞ % Senior Notes due 2021. A portion of the offering was sold to qualified institutional buyers under rule 144A under the United States Securities Act of 1933.


Videotron intends to use the proceeds of this offering to finance the redemption and retirement of US$255 million aggregate principal amount of its issued and outstanding 6⅞% Senior Notes due 2014 on July 18, 2011, to finance the settlement and termination of related hedging contracts and for the payment of related transaction fees and expenses.
