Videotron launches mobile services in several areas of the Haute-Mauricie region

Videotron today announced the expansion of its wireless coverage and service area in the Haute-Mauricie region, effective August 31. The upgrade is made possible by a partnership with Ecotel and the support of the Québec government. It will bring a major improvement in mobile communications to this region of Québec, providing more than 10,000 residents with access to Videotron's mobile services and enhancing connectivity along a number of roads.

Videotron, Fizz and Freedom Mobile outperform the industry in customer satisfaction

The outstanding customer service provided by Videotron, Fizz and Freedom Mobile is reflected again in the annual report released this morning by the Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services (CCTS). While the volume of complaints logged by CCTS for the industry as a whole jumped by 38%, Videotron recorded an exceptional drop for the third year in a row, down 14%. As for Fizz and Freedom Mobile, they saw variations of -2% and +5.7% respectively.
