Le SuperClub Vidéotron offers customers Al Gore documentary free of charge

Montréal, February 21, 2007 – On the occasion of today's visit to Montréal by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore as part of his campaign to raise awareness of global warning, Le SuperClub Vidéotron has announced that it will offer customers Mr. Gore's Academy Award-nominated film, An Inconvenient Truth, free of charge with any rental movie from Friday, February 23 to the end of March.

"With just a few days to go until Oscar night, Le SuperClub Vidéotron is pleased to give its customers an opportunity to see the popular, critically acclaimed film free of charge,” said Donald Lizotte, President of Le SuperClub Vidéotron ltée and Retail Sales, Videotron Ltd. "This is a very advantageous offer for our clients; once again, they will get the best customer experience.”

Al Gore, father of three, contender for the Nobel Peace Prize, argues in the documentary that there is an urgent need for radical change to save the environment and that we have a moral obligation to act. An Inconvenient Truth is a passionate call to arms to stop global warming which attempts to debunk the myths and illusions surrounding the issue.

There are a limited number of copies in stock. An Inconvenient Truth is available in English, with optional French subtitles.
