Jean Novak President
President, Videotron Business Solutions
Jean Novak joined Videotron in May 2004 as Vice President, Consumer Sales. Then, in January 2005, he became President, Videotron Business Solutions, which markets telecommunications services to businesses.
His first challenge as President, Videotron Business Solutions was to incorporate Videotron Telecom into Videotron and set up the Videotron Business Solutions division. Since then, Videotron Business Solutions has grown quickly, especially in the SME segment. It now serves over 57,000 businesses in Quebec and has a customer satisfaction rate of over 97 % for SMEs and 95 % for large businesses. What's more, Videotron Business Solutions' recognition rate is now over 87 %.
After beginning his career in a family business, Jean Novak went to Molson Breweries of Canada in 1998, where he held various managerial positions, including Telesales Manager for Quebec and Senior Manager of Sales and Distribution for the Montréal area. His distinguished performance in the latter position earned him the President's Cup in 2000 and 2003, a corporate award for the administrative region with the strongest growth in market share.
Jean Novak graduated from HEC Montréal in 1985 with a diploma in Business Administration/Marketing and completed the CIREM senior management development program in 1995. He is involved in the Fondation Père Sablon and sits on the Board of Directors of the Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal.
