Daniel Proulx, P.Eng. Senior Vice President, Engineering
Daniel Proulx joined Videotron in 1995 as Director, Installation and Repair Services for the Montréal area. From 1998 to 2002, he served in different management positions, including Director, Operations Centre, Customer Technical Support and Project Management. In 2002, he was named Vice President, Information Technology Services and, the following year, Vice President, Engineering, for the Residential Division. Since 2005, he has been Senior Vice President, Engineering, in charge of the Consumer and Business division engineering teams.
Since he was appointed to head Videotron's engineering department, Daniel Proulx has successfully overseen the rollout of cable telephone service and ongoing network upgrades and reliability controls to support sustained customer growth and increasing consumer and business demand for bandwidth.
Daniel Proulx started his career at ABI, a subsidiary of Péchiney Group, where he worked in procurement before becoming an engineer and project manager. He then joined Molson Canada, where he held a number of executive positions.
Daniel Proulx has a Bachelor degree in Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal.
