The Consumer Sales service offers a youthful and dynamic work environment. Our teams work in sales kiosks, in the retail network and on the road. Whatever their niche, our sales agents work together to provide customers with whatever they need.

Full- and part-time sales positions are available, perfect for university students who want to join our ranks before graduating. All retail sales agents benefit from full-time, permanent positions.

We are looking for energetic agents who can easily communicate in English and French, are responsible self-starters, who can represent and sell Videotron products and services across the province. Always on hand to listen to the needs of our customers, our consultants hold an important place in the company as our ambassadors. They work from our customer call centres, a personalized and familiar environment. They significantly contribute to materializing Videotrons mission to provide our customers with the best possible experience.

Many positions are available: sales consultant for after-sales service, customer technical support consultant, team manager. Our call centres are located across the province, including downtown, Montreals South Shore, Quebec City, Chicoutimi and Gatineau. Our consultants work in an ever-changing multiservice environment. The principle of the single window one contact with customer service and technical support, one single visit from our technician, one monthly bill for all Videotron products and services has allowed our customer contact centres to reach a high customer satisfaction rate. In 2007, more than 94% of our customers expressed that they were very satisfied with our customer service.

Our customer service consultants answer each and every question they receive, whether about billing or packages, and contribute to overall sales by satisfying customer needs. On the other hand, our technical support consultants answer questions and resolve any technical problem raised by customers. All our consultants receive complete, supervised, paid training, and highly competitive benefits. We are looking for great bilingual communicators, available to work full-time days, nights and weekends. Candidates must be comfortable in a PC environment (MS Office, Web browsing, e-mail applications, data processing systems, etc.).

Interesting opportunities for professional development are available to our consultants, who can reach higher positions such as manager of the customer service team or technical support team. Technical Support (installation-service)

Those who are hands-on, and who like being at the heart of the action and interact directly with customers play a leading role in our company.

The Technical Support service works directly with Videotron customers every day. One of our teams includes more than 300 installation-service technicians that visit our customers daily for installations, or to solve technical or any other customer service problem related to cable, Internet and residential telephony. They benefit from a condensed 37.5 hour week spread over four days of work.

Those interested in joining the ranks of our installation-service technicians must:

  • Have a vocational diploma, Attestation of Collegial Studies or a Diploma of Collegial Studies in electronics or a related field;
  • Speak French and have a functional knowledge of English;
  • Have a valid drivers license (class 5);
  • Be able to work alone (independently), inside and outside residences, no matter what the weather;
  • Be comfortable with heights and like the physical labour that comes with manipulating ladders and tools;
  • Have a professional attitude including patience, courtesy and politeness.

Our installation-service technicians have a privileged contact with our customers and contribute to providing them with the best possible experience. Employment opportunities are available in many regions, including the greater Montreal area, Outaouais, Eastern Townships, the greater Quebec region and SaguenayLac-Saint-Jean.

Other technical performance teams directly and indirectly support the work of our installation-service technicians both administratively and logistically. For example, planning and dispatching teams are respectively in charge of creating and managing the day-by-day itineraries of technicians. You may also want to apply for a position that involves managing our fleet of 700 vehicles, protecting the integrity of our network or managing our various outsourcing companies.

Videotrons IT service is essential in supporting our companys activities within a fast-paced context. Since IT teams often rely on each other, a great sense of team spirit is a must.

This service manages many activities, including:

Videotrons IT service develops new products for Internet, cable television and cable telephony customers. The launch of the new wireless telephony service is currently requiring the recruitment of many IT specialists.

With more than 200 employees, the Finances and Control service is at the heart of the companys management, and includes the following activities:

  • Budget management and financial analysis;
  • Earnings insurance;
  • Billing and collection;
  • General accounting;
  • All accounting and managing activities for Videotron;
  • Guidance on the choice of reporting and management systems.

Financial analysts, accountants and billing analysts also make up this team.

Certain positions are only open to those with technical diplomas, including payroll clerks or in accounts payable, while others are offered to university graduates (certificate or bachelors degree), especially those who hold an accounting title (CA, CMA, CGA).

Human Resources

This team plays a strategic role in the companys administration, ensuring quality service to its managers and employees. With a multidisciplinary outlook, they create an environment where both personal and professional development is a reality.

The Human Resources service is made up of four large teams:

  • Work relations negotiates collective agreements and advises managers in how to manage and apply them.
  • Occupational health and safety keeps policies and promotes the occupational health and safety of employees. This team is also in charge of short- and long-term disabilities of employees.
  • Recruiting develops recruitment strategies, establishes strategic partnerships with educational and professional institutions, and supports managers during the selection process, from analyzing the companys needs to presenting the job offer.
  • Training and organizational development implements strategies to attract new employees and strengthen loyalty. This team advises managers when it comes to various organizational issues, including the orientation and integration of new employees, succession identification and management, the development of skills, performance management and job termination.
  • Compensation and benefits uses their expertise to evaluate positions, develop compensation policies, manage bonuses, and deal with all activities related to the retirement plan committee and work benefits.

Videotrons community television service, MAtv is available in almost every region in Quebec. Formerly known as VOX, MAtv is a forward-looking, complimentary channel for citizens, showcasing young talents whether in front or behind the camera, or excelling in cultural or sporting activities and presenting whats new. MAtv offers a rich and varied program line-up, gives the public access to the airwaves and promotes cultural diversity through quality locally produced shows.

MAtv reflects the cultural and regional realities of the 11 communities in which it can be seen: Montreal and the metropolitan region, Quebec-Levis, Saguenay, Sherbrooke, Victoriaville, Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Coaticook, Sorel-Tracy, Granby, Riviere-du-Loup and La Pocatire, Outaouais.
